Safe And Natural Stainless Steel Cleaner: Steel Glo
74
In the kitchen, pots and pans, or any stainless steel, copper, or chrome items do not stay shiny. Unless you do not cook, you most definitely will have to clean and scrub your dishes sooner or later. Why not choose a product that will assist you in this task, and make it an easy one.
I have been using Steel Glo in and around my house for over ten years now, and do not know any other product that would match the qualities and capabilities of this one. I simply did not need to look for any other cleaning agent, since I was perfectly satisfied with the performance of Steel Glo. My pots, pans, and skillets are refreshed every time, looking bright and shiny, even after some unfortunate spills and burns (yes, I am not perfect in the kitchen :=)
What Is Steel Glo?
- It is a powder (they do have liquid, I just haven't used it) cleaning agent designed for chrome, copper, and stainless steel products.
- Steel Glo's formula is safe, non-toxic, and biodegradable (that's a big plus for green living).
- Very easy to use - just wash off excess dirt, put some Steel Glo powder on a wet sponge or paper towel, rub in circular motion over stains and tarnished areas, rinse clean, and buff with dry cloth.
Uses Of Steel Glo
I have used Steel Glo in my kitchen extensively - cleaning and polishing my stainless steel pots and pans, stainless steel kitchen sink, even cleaning the glass-top range. There have been times, when I would have thrown away a pot if it wasn't for this cleaner. I recall such an incident... when I just got married (I can laugh about it now, excusing my absentmindedness to being overwhelmed with new responsibilities), I had put a pot of corn-on-the-cob to cook and left to the grocery store, forgetting about it. About two hours later, I came home only to find black char inside my Lifetime stainless steel pot (an expensive cookware, AND a present from my mother)! I thought I'd have to throw the pot away...Somehow, I attempted to clean it, and did it. Now, almost ten years later, my pot is as good as new!
Other places Steel Glo can be used:
- Stainless Steel Grill
- Stainless Steel Appliances
- Chrome Bathroom Sink Faucets and Showerheads (works very well, since it removes any hard water stains)
- Tile
- Bottom of an iron
- Any household fixture made of stainless steel, chrome, or copper.
Two notes of caution:
- You need to use gloves while cleaning, to prevent the tarnish to pass on to your hands and fingernails from the pots.
- Do not use Steel Glo on finished/polished or glossy surfaces per company's instructions. I admit using it on my bathroom sinks and toilet seats, without any damage to them.
